Move assets across chains with Nanfin
Nanfin is a bridge and swap interface for EVM networks. You pick a route, review a live quote, confirm in your wallet, and track the fill until it lands.
Overview
Every transfer on Nanfin follows one loop: select origin and destination, quote the route, execute the steps your wallet must sign or send, then track status until success (or a clear failure / refund state).
Intent
You define from chain, to chain, tokens, and amount.
Quote
Nanfin returns estimated output, fees, gas, time, and price impact.
Execute
You confirm transactions or signatures in an injected EVM wallet.
Settle
Status updates live until the destination fill completes.
Quickstart
- Open the Nanfin app and connect an injected EVM wallet (MetaMask and compatible providers).
- Confirm the default route or pick your own: origin chain + token, destination chain + token.
- Enter an amount. USD value updates when a price is available.
- Tap Get Quote and review output, fees, gas, execution time, and impact.
- Tap Execute, approve any prompts in your wallet, and watch the status panel.
Default route opens as ETH on Ethereum -> ETH on Robinhood Chain. Flip chains anytime with the swap control between the two legs.
Routes & chains
Nanfin loads live chain and token catalogs when the app starts. Only deposit-enabled EVM chains appear in the selectors. Tokens load per chain so you choose from assets that actually clear on that network.
- From / To chain - search by name or chain ID.
- Token - search by symbol, name, or contract address.
- Same-chain swaps - supported when origin and destination share a chain but differ in token.
- Cross-chain bridges - origin and destination differ; fill lands on the destination chain.
Quotes
A quote is an executable plan for your exact intent. It is not a final balance until you execute and the fill succeeds. Quotes expire; always requote after changing amount, chains, or tokens.
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| You receive | Estimated destination amount after routing and fees. |
| Rate | Effective conversion between input and output units. |
| Fees | Service and routing costs surfaced by the quote. |
| Gas | Origin-side network cost estimate when provided. |
| Est. time | Typical fill window in seconds for the selected route. |
| Price impact | How much the route moves price versus a mid reference. |
You must connect a wallet before quoting so the plan can target your address as sender and recipient.
Execute
Execution walks the steps returned with the quote. Depending on the route and tokens, you may see one or more of the following:
- Approve - allow the router to move an ERC-20 you hold.
- Deposit / swap transaction - on-chain transaction you confirm in the wallet.
- Signature (gasless path) - off-chain permit or authorization when the route supports it; no gas on that step for you.
Nanfin switches your wallet to the origin chain when needed. If the chain is missing from the wallet, you will be prompted to add it using public RPC and explorer data from the catalog.
Status
After you submit origin steps, Nanfin polls execution status and shows progress in the app.
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| waiting | Waiting for origin deposit confirmation. |
| depositing | Origin deposit seen; preparing the fill. |
| pending | Deposit indexed; destination submission in progress. |
| submitted | Destination transaction submitted. |
| success | Fill completed on the destination chain. |
| delayed | Still processing; keep the panel open. |
| failure | Fill did not complete. Check history and wallet balances. |
| refund | Funds returned on the refund path when applicable. |
Wallets
Nanfin supports injected EVM wallets through window.ethereum (EIP-1193). That covers MetaMask, Rabby, Coinbase Wallet browser extension, and most browser injectors.
- Connect once; the app restores the session if the wallet remains authorized.
- Account switches update the connected address and refresh history.
- Tap Disconnect to clear the session in Nanfin (and revoke site access when the wallet supports it).
- Solana and non-EVM wallets are outside the current interface scope.
Fees & impact
Quote panels break down what you pay to move the transfer through. Exact numbers depend on route, token pair, network congestion, and size.
- Network gas - paid on the origin chain for deposit or approval txs when required.
- Routing / service fees - included in the quote so the receive amount is net of those costs.
- Price impact - market movement implied by your size on the selected path.
There is no separate Nanfin UI fee beyond what the quote displays. Always read the quote before you execute.
History
Recent transactions list requests tied to your connected wallet: status, route, amount, and request id. Refresh after a fill to pull the latest rows. Empty state means no history for that address yet.
FAQ
Why did my quote fail?
Common causes: amount too small for the route, unsupported token pair, chain temporarily offline, or wallet not connected. Adjust amount or route and try again.
Why is execution stuck on pending?
Origin may still be confirming, or the destination fill is queued. Keep the status panel open. Check the origin explorer for your deposit hash if one was shown.
Can I bridge to Robinhood Chain?
Yes. Robinhood Chain is in the catalog when available. The app defaults to Ethereum ETH -> Robinhood ETH for a fast start.
Do I need native gas on the destination?
Destination gas is not required for the fill itself. You may still want a small amount of native token later to move funds from the destination wallet.
